(1W/1S)#8: H2O – What Happened ?

Ca fait longtemps que j’avais plus partagé de lyrics avec vous, alors comme j’arrivais plus à bosser je me suis dit que j’allais vous faire découvrir les paroles d’une chanson de H2O que j’aime beaucoup: What Happened ? Elle illustre bien comment la scène hardcore se détériore avec les années, ne laissant de place et d’importance qu’à l’apparence et l’attitude. Ras-le-bol de ces gens qui ne se préoccupent que de leur image et de leur look! Et merci aux groupes qui viennent encore avec un message à partager, qui tentent de faire bouger les choses et qui n’ont pas oublié que le hardcore c’est pas que de la musique.

Pour information, les deux voix “en featuring” sur cette chanson sont celles de Lou Koller (Sick Of It All) et Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio).

(1W/1S)#7: Terror – Keep Your Mouth Shut

Ceux qui me connaissent savent que je suis très susceptible en ce qui concerne la musique. Qu’on aime pas ce que j’écoute, je respecte. Mais ce que je ne supporte pas, ce sont les gens qui critiquent ou jugent sans savoir de quoi ils parlent. Le hardcore c’est une des plus belles choses qui me soient arrivées, et c’est pas près de s’arrêter.

Alors à ceux qui pensent que notre musique se résume à des mecs sans cervelle qui gueulent dans un micro en frappant sur des casseroles, je dis: vous ne savez pas ce que c’est et vous ne savez pas de quoi vous parlez! Vous ne connaissez pas notre vie, notre univers, notre environnement. Alors arrêtez de nous juger sur base de clichés à la cons.

Cette chanson est dédiée à tous les imbéciles qui jugent, critiquent ou rejettent ce qu’ils ne connaissent ou ne comprennent pas!

(1W/1S)#6: xAnchorx – It Kills You To Know

On me demande souvent pourquoi je suis devenu végétarien. C’est parfois pénible de devoir expliquer 100 fois la même chose, mais c’est toujours une bonne occasion de sensibiliser les gens. Je suis conscient que l’homme est un être omnivore, et que la viande a (presque) toujours fait partie de son alimentation, mais je ne peux pas accepter l’idée de manger un être vivant. Certains penseront que je suis une “chochotte”, grand bien leur fasse, mais moi au moins j’ai une conscience et un coeur, c’est tout ce qui compte!

Je ne suis pas là pour vous convaincre d’arrêter de manger de la viande, mais juste pour vous faire réaliser que ce qui se trouve sur votre assiette est parfois (ou souvent) le résultat d’un traitement plus que discutable. Ce qui m’attriste vraiment, c’est que la majorité des gens savent comment ces animaux sont traités, et que ça ne les empêche pas de manger du foie gras ou des cuisses de grenouilles. Ca vous plairait qu’on vous arrache les jambes alors que vous êtes encore vivants? Ou qu’on vous remplisse le bide avec un entonnoir? Moi pas!

La chanson que je vous présente aujourd’hui est It Kills You To Know du groupe suédois xAnchorx. Elle exprime bien l’incompréhension que je ressens face aux gens qui disent ouvertement en avoir rien à faire du traitement des animaux. Encore une fois, ça n’engage que moi, et je n’imposerai JAMAIS mes choix aux autres. Chacun sa vie, ses choix et sa santé.
